Such a fun engagement Session at Rattlesnake Lake in Washington. I love meeting with clients and it feels like we’ve been friends forever. These two were the sweetest and so fun to work with! They chose Rattlesnake Lake as their engagement session location because they wanted a true PNW feel. Big surprise, it started raining – classic PNW weather!

These two were down to try any of my weird suggestions and were laughing the entire time. We started by the lake and slowly made our way over to the trail. This gave us a ton of variety with the photos – mountains, trees, the lake, what more could you need. This location is definitely a favorite of mine and for good reason. It’s also only forty-five minutes from Seattle! We got really lucky with some low clouds – it added such a cool look to the photos that included more of the landscape!

They chose to bring champagne to pop at the end of the session. Not only is that a fun way to celebrate your engagement/ engagement session it also makes for great photos. Scroll down to the bottom to see their epic champagne pop. I always encourage bringing some sort of prop to your engagement session just to add a little extra to your photos!

There is a hike at this location! We ended up not doing the hike but there are really cool photo opportunities if you do choose to do so! It’s a relatively quick hike for epic views! The hike isn’t necessary to get beautiful images though!
